HRD unveils 5-Star HR Software and Technology Providers for 2023

The role of HR technology in workplaces is now more important than ever amid recruitment and retention challenges, as well as the era of hybrid work.

But from many competitive HR software companies, only a few have emerged as the best of the best in providing solutions for challenges HR professionals face.

For this year, HRD Canada is proud to introduce the 33 winners among the 5-Star Software and Technology Providers of 2023.

The winners cater to the facets of HR administration and strategy, including payroll and benefits, recruitment, compliance, as well as workforce analytics.

They are led by ADP Canada and back-to-back winner Payworks.

ADP Canada offers HR leaders relief by helping them on payroll, HR, talent, and compliance, giving them more time to address more important matters.

"We help employers cut through the clutter and make confident decisions with tools like workforce analytics and employee surveys that help predict employee behaviour," said Mohamad Chakroun, vice president of product development at ADP.

For Payworks, which enjoys its second year on top, it assists businesses of all sizes with its human capital management platform. It also helps in reducing paperwork and avoiding possible late penalties for clients.

"We work with our clients to discover exactly what problems employers are facing on an ongoing basis and then we work continuously to develop solutions that can benefit all of today's evolving workforce," said Amanda Soloway, senior marketing manager, at Payworks.

The selection process for this year's list involved one-on-one interviews with HR professionals, and a survey among thousands within HRD Canada's network.

More than 200 respondents were also asked to rate their overall satisfaction with HR technology providers that they used across four categories, allowing 33 HR software companies to rise to the top.
