Global software giant names industry veteran Ani Banerjee as new CHRO

Software company KnowBe4 has announced that industry veteran Ani Banerjee has joined its ranks as the company's chief human resources officer (CHRO), bringing with him 30 years of HR experience in the tech sector.

In the company's announcement, KnowBe4 said that Banerjee is tasked with overseeing the company's HR operations across 11 countries. He is also responsible of coming up with new initiatives to enhance the company's organisational culture, its recruitment channels, as well as its diversity, inclusion, and equity strategies.

Banerjee said that it is an "exciting time" to be a part of KnowBe4, a known provider of security awareness training and simulated phishing platform across the world.

"I came to KnowBe4 in part because the company has a strong, innovative culture, and extremely high-calibre staff," said the new CHRO in a statement.

"I saw that within the company people operate as business partners to achieve common goals, which is something of a brass ring for HR. KnowBe4 is clearly one of the leaders contributing to Tampa Bay's emergence as a vibrant high-tech hub. It's an exciting time to be involved."

According to his LinkedIn profile, Banerjee joined KnowBe4 in July 2022.

Most recently, he was the former Global HR Head of cloud computing company VMWare. Previously, he also worked for Yahoo! as country HR head (India), for AOL as HR head for Asia, and for Dell Technologies as director HR.
