TV star to host HR gala

This year’s Canadian HR Awards will be presented by an on-screen veteran who co-hosts the nation’s leading entertainment show.

Organizers for this year’s highly-anticipated Canadian HR Awards have confirmed the event will be hosted by TV star and on-screen veteran Ben Mulroney.

Montreal-born Mulroney – who is the co-host of Your Morning as well as Canada’s number one entertainment show, eTalk – has covered countless renowned events throughout his career including the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the Emmys, and the Olympics.

In September, he will guide hundreds of Canada’s most distinguished HR professionals through an evening of career-defining accolades and awards.

Among the awards being given out on the night is the KPMG Award for Canadian HR Leader of the Year and the Accompass Award for Canadian HR Team of the Year.

“It’s a huge privilege to have Ben on board and, with the Canadian HR Awards being dubbed the ‘Oscars of the HR industry,’ we couldn’t think of anyone more fitting,” said event director Chris Davis.

The up-coming Canadian HR Awards will be held at the Liberty Grand in Toronto, on September 15, 2016. With remaining tickets running low, all those who are interested in attending are encouraged to secure their space now.
