Lighter side: You need to see this Google manager’s response to a leave request

We dare you not to enjoy this heartwarming response to a little girl who asked her father’s boss for his birthday off

As if Google didn’t already have a good enough reputation as a place of work, correspondence between a Google manager and his employee’s daughter has gone viral – and for good reason.

A Google employee’s daughter put her foot down over her father’s apparently excessive working hours, addressing his boss as “Dear google worker”.

“Can you please make sure when daddy goes to work, He gets one day off,” she requested. “Like he can get get (sic) a day off on Wednsday (sic). Because daddy ONLY gets a day off on Saterday (sic).”

She also added two helpful postscripts, saying, “P.S. It is daddy’s BIRTHDAY! P.P.S. It is Summer, you know”.

Fortunately, Katie’s father’s boss understood her predicament, granting not only Wednesday, but the entire first week of July off to her dad.
