The National HR Summit is returning for 2022, bringing with it a host of expert panels, workshops and the chance to network with industry peers.

HRD is proud to announce ELMO Software as the exclusive partner for the main conference stage and Ceridian as the Directors Forum exclusive partner. The HR industry’s leading event will delve into insight and experience from top people leaders after another rapidly changing 12 months.

Speaking to HRD, ELMO Software CHRO Monica Watt said the company is thrilled to come on board for what promises to be another jam-packed event.

“Lockdowns, employee engagement, workplace vaccination debates and safe workplace requirements have meant that HR professionals have been thrust into the corporate spotlight like never before,” she said. “The 2022 National HR Summit is the perfect opportunity for us all to share what we learnt, trade some battle stories and re-connect with our peers.”

ELMO’s own research shows that far from being over, the pandemic is continuing to cause high levels of burnout, a lack of job security and anxiety about Australia’s economic future. Watt said COVID-19 is clearly continuing to play a role in these worrying trends.

“For 2022, HR professionals must focus on the challenges yet to come as employees and business go head-to-head on employment expectations,” she said. “HR must be ready to meet the consequences that will come from a disenfranchised burnt-out workforce with low perceptions of job security.

“The employer brand along with the employee engagement, alignment and wellbeing will become strategic conversations with significant investment.”

Stephen Moore, Ceridian’s managing director for Asia Pacific and Japan said the team is looking forward to being a part of the National HR Summit once again and supporting HR leaders on their journey to create quantifiable value in the new world of work.
