Fleetcare announces new learning academy

Fleetcare has announced the launch of the Fleetcare Learning Academy which provides tailored learning platforms and the opportunity for Fleetcare staff to obtain nationally recognised qualifications in:

  • Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
  • Certificate IV in Customer Engagement
  • Diploma of Business

Using a blended learning and flipped classroom model, Fleetcare employees will learn from their peers, with their peers, in a structured environment designed with industry-specific case studies.

Moreover, content experts from Fleetcare’s leadership team will deliver the training and support the roll out and accreditation for staff.

Fleetcare designed the Learning Academy following their annual employee experience surveys and working groups which highlighted career development as one of the most important factors to their staff.

This is supported with a recent Gallup Report on Workplace Learning that garnered insight from 500 learning and development professionals and found that 80% of executives believe developing employees is a top priority.

Fleetcare CEO Nigel Malcolm said he saw the launch of the Fleetcare Learning Academy as something that will help attract and retain top talent as well as a platform to build cross collaboration of teams as staff come together to work through new solutions, share ideas and challenge their current way of thinking.

Recent starter Nathan Hardy said the way this is being offered to staff and the significant investment that is being made in each person’s future is truly commendable.

“These are the sorts of things that are going to make Fleetcare an employer of choice, not only in the fleet industry but the wider marketplace as well,” said Hardy.

Moreover, Fleetcare also launched its own Learning Library, where staff can further develop their knowledge with recommended books and articles on leadership, business and industry information.
