Tough times for HR leaders in Western Canada

It’s been a challenging few years for business in Western Canada, with companies struggling to keep up with emerging disruptors, demands of the multi-generational workforce and new rules in ever-changing workplaces.

“All in all, it’s a recipe for confusion for businesses and HR leaders” said HR Leaders’ Summit West event organizer Sandra Basiri.
“How can HR professionals work towards recruiting, retaining and engaging the best talent?” Basiri said.

“We’ve previously reported on how 88% of HR leaders say that building the organization for the future is their most important challenge – yet only 11% of them believe they know how to go about this” said Basiri.

The challenges faced by west coast HR leaders will be under discussion when western Canada’s senior HR leaders descend on Vancouver for the upcoming 2nd annual HR Leaders’ Summit West, tickets for which are now available.
