Canadian employment grew with 11,600 new jobs in July, according to ADP’s national employment report.
“We saw moderate job growth for the month of July,” said Ahu Yildirmaz, vice president and co-head of the ADP Research Institute.
The increase is attributed to the spike in hiring in leisure and hospitality as well as the “solid improvements” in the health, professional, and business service sectors.
“However, the industries closely tied to trade struggled with widespread losses,” Yildirmaz said. Below is an overview:
