Employee trainers pay a lot of attention to the content of their curriculum and the way they deliver it. But do we pay enough attention to the tangible surroundings in which we ask employees to absorb the learning we seek to impart? Dave Clemens, HR blogger and senior writer for Rapid Learning Institute, investigates.

These are very good points and I would add inadequate internet speed and bandwidth cause frustration in some venues. WHS issues such as tangled cables, untagged and untested devices can also be a hazard both to training attendees and all those who share responsibility for providing a safe workplace. Training is such a worthwhile investment when done well. Not sure why some organisations just focus on minimising cost rather than maximising return?
