A hopeful intern in the US has died under unknown circumstances.

    Absolutely appalling!

A triumph of organisational values over personal and social values - again ! The poor intern probably heard phrases like "That's the way we do things here" or "You are a team player aren't you ?" I'm currently writing a presentation on ethical workplaces - BAML obviously isn't one of them !

Perhaps we need to stop using words like ‘intern’ and remember we are talking about a person. In this case a young 21 year old Moritz Erhardt. This is sad news indeed, especially if his death was brought about, as suggested in allegations, of him and other people working around the clock. This is clearly not an internship. The whole notion of an internship is for the advantage of learning for the intern.
