Top comedian to host the 2014 Australian HR Awards

There will be laughs aplenty for those attending this year’s Australian HR Awards, with comedian and actress Julia Morris manning the microphone.

Being named as leaders in the HR profession will be a serious business for the winners of the 2014 Australian HR Awards, but presenter Julia Morris is set to provide a lighter side to the evening.

Morris, who began her career by competing in and being named a joint winner of a televised talent show, has also starred in the sketch comedy series Full Frontal, In Melbourne Tonight, Good Morning Australia and Who Dares Wins.

In 2011, she won The Celebrity Apprentice Australia and she played Gemma Crabb on the drama House Husbands.

She’s also the host of Australia’s Got Talent, in addition to having an extensive stage career.

The awards ceremony will be held on 5 September and nominations close at midnight on Thursday, 12 June.
