Hundreds of senior HR figures from across Australia are gathered at Sydney’s Luna Park as the first day of the 2018 National HR Summit gets underway.

Speakers from some of the country’s most eminent organisations – including AMP, NSW Police Force and BankVic – are set to take the stage today with more to follow on Thursday.

This morning, best-selling author Saroo Brierly – who inspired the Oscar-nominated film Lion – will address attendees to discuss the role of resilience in the workplace and beyond.

He will be followed by AMP’s head of performance and reward, Kynan Newswan, who will give an informative presentation on what really motivates employees today.

Other sessions taking place will cover topics such as transformation, change and the legal intricacies of employee exits – among a number of others.

HRD will you keep you updates as the event unfolds.
