    You must have robust policies that clearly define the requirements. The policy must also include consequences for non-compliance.

    Our policies clearly state that a refusal is treated as a positive result.
    Staff are subsequently stood down and an investigation is conducted.

    A discipline hearing is then conducted.

    Sanctions are then decided after the employee has been given an opportunity to provide an explanation.
