My Take: Yes

Chatbots provide convenience, decision support, and personalization. Organizations are able to provide better customer services through interactive bots. Following tasks in the recruitment process are being automated;

1) Automated resume search
2) Collection of information about candidates apart from the one in the resume
3) Pre-screening process
4) Screening and initial interview
5) Analysis of facial expressions during the video interviews
6) Updating applicants about information on hiring process
7) Background checks
8) Answering candidate’s queries proactively
