The tech giant promises seamless connectivity and improved engagement
Samsung Australia has unveiled its line-up of new enterprise technology solutions, including an a new line of rugged phones and devices designed to withstand harsh conditions and new interactive whiteboards with AI technology to support educators.
At an event in Sydney, the tech giant revealed their improved line of technologies to help sectors including retail, construction, education and corporate workplace environments.
“We have a proud heritage in display innovation, which allows us to power Australian business across an array of sectors through long-term partnerships all built on a deep understanding of customers’ specific needs,” Neal Elliott, acting head of pro display at Samsung Electronics Australia, told HRD.
“Whether you’re an organisation operating in the retail, education, or corporate sector – to name but a few – we have a range of display solutions available that are powerful and intuitive,” he said.
The new line of products promises solutions to transform ways of working, boosting productivity and providing seamless connectivity,
"We understand Australian enterprises are looking for technology that’s not only powerful and intuitive, but developed to last, and designed with sustainability in mind,” Elliott said.
“As proud leaders in display technology, we are continually innovating to meet the evolving industry requirements; and with our 2025 enterprise range, we are reinforcing our commitment to delivering smart, durable and efficient solutions, all with the aim to help organisations unlock new levels of productivity, engagement and connectivity.”
The new tech – focusing on retail, education, and corporate sectors – focuses on connecting workforces. Through their new Galaxy XCover7 and Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro, businesses can access enterprise-ready solutions designed to meet the needs of the modern work environment.
These new models, unlike previous iterations, offer greater durability that can be used in on-the-ground industries such as construction and other frontline sectors as well as in the office, through military-grade resilience.
With the "ruggedised" smartphone market expected to reach up to 4.46 million units and the ruggedised tablet market projected to hit 1.89 million units by 2028, according to statistics, these devices can be increasingly essential in industries such as retail, government, logistics, healthcare and manufacturing, Samsung say.
The tech is now available in Australia.
Other new technologies being rolled out include E-paper, designed to be an ultra-low energy consumption alternative to digital promotional materials, and a new interactive whiteboard with AI technology to support education practices.
The E-Paper, Elliott told HRD, helps drive engagement and support people managers.
“This could help retail businesses transition from paper-based to digital in-store advertising solutions and improve efficiency by making it easy for staff to manage these displays – freeing up their time for more meaningful activity such as customer service.”
“The E-Paper can also be used within the workplace to drive employee engagement, or as a compliance tool by simply replacing current static communications such as promotional posters and internal employee reminders,” he added.
The Interactive eBoard – available in 65, 75 and 86-inch options – has been created to boost collaboration in professional settings.
Its touch enabled display brings together intuitive usability and real-time collaboration to help drive engagement and improve outcomes.
“As education and workplace environments continue to evolve, the need for collaborative, easy-to-use digital tools has never been greater,” Elliott said. “The Samsung Interactive eBoard delivers an experience that is both familiar and powerful — blending the simplicity of a traditional whiteboard with the intelligence and versatility of a digital platform.”
