Unlock Your Hiring Potential: The Predictive Power of Structured Interviews

In today's competitive labour market, it takes more than a paycheck to attract the best talent. To engage the most promising candidates, companies need to step up their hiring process with new approaches to both diversity and technology.

Two leading experts on hiring from @Criteria Australia will address these topics and more in a webinar on May 10. The talk, Unlock Your Hiring Potential: The Predictive Power of Structured Interviews, will feature Bre James, Director for Consulting Psychology (Global), and Dr. Matthew Neale, Vice President of Assessment Products.

James and Dr. Neale will discuss the strategies and solutions that hiring managers need to secure top talent in a tight market.

Diversity

Future employees are looking for companies that welcome a wide range of perspectives, ideas, and experiences. As the first point of contact, the hiring process is the candidate’s window on a company’s commitment to diversity.

To avoid traditional stereotypes while embracing people of all abilities and disabilities, today’s hiring managers can draw upon a suite of new technologies for help.

Technology

Artificial intelligence is key to recruitment today. Not only are AI solutions able to quickly screen large volumes of resumes for the best candidates, it can filter out unconscious bias by avoiding subjective human impressions and focusing on objective data. AI-driven tools also reduce the time spent on administration, allowing recruiters to concentrate on building relationships with promising candidates.

Game-based assessments are also gaining in importance. With top candidates increasingly unwilling to endure a tedious recruitment process, a game-based assessment can test a person’s abilities in a way that is both interactive and enjoyable.
