Remuneration is an integral component of being an attractive and equitable employer. In 2017, Genesis was one of New Zealand’s first companies to determine a thorough and considered approached to managing pay equity, and remains a leader providing advice to other employers on how to best maintain pay equity. Genesis pay equity gap is currently 1.1%. In 2020, Genesis has also been working to identify what its people need in order to be future-ready, with the skills and mindsets needed to ensure they have a greater sense of utility and can adapt as the demands of technology, their role, the organisation and the greater world of work shift.
