Ryan is currently an executive editor at Key Media, where he started as a journalist in 2013. He has since he worked his way up to managing editor and is now an executive editor. He edits content for several B2B publications across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. He also writes feature content for trade publications for the insurance and mortgage industries.

Ryan Smith is an award-winning journalist with more than a decade of experience in the industry. Beginning his career in the army as a writer for Fort Bragg's award-winning military newspaper, Ryan has held nearly every editorial position in the field, from staff writer to managing editor. He is a winner of two Keith L. Ware awards for military journalism and two Florida Press Association awards for commentary. He is also the host of a weekly pop-culture podcast and the author of a mystery novel and several comedy radio plays.
