Employers urged to 'tailor' employer brand to resonate with talent
Singapore Airlines has been named the Most Attractive Employer for jobseekers in 2026, according to a new report, which also showed the top industries for workers in the country.
Randstad's 2026 Employer Brand Research report named Singapore Airlines as Singapore's Most Attractive Employer, a title that it held three times in five years.
It cited the airline's good reputation, use of modern technology and innovation, as well as high leadership and management quality for the achievement.
"The path to being a hub for high-value talent demands that employers need to commit deeply to training their workforce and address core talent drivers," said David Blasco, country director at Randstad Singapore.
"Singapore Airlines exemplifies this by aligning its brand with credibility, innovation, and clear leadership, which resonates deeply with the talent they wish to attract and retain."
Singapore Airlines said in a statement that the recognition reflects the dedication of its people and its commitment to "fostering a workplace where everyone can take pride in what they do and continue to learn, grow, and thrive."
"Thank you to everyone who has placed their trust in us, and to our people for making this possible," it said on Facebook.
Vanessa Ng, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Singapore Airlines, added that it is an honour to be recognised.
"Our people bring the Singapore Airlines experience to life through their professionalism, shared commitment, and service excellence," Ng said in a separate statement.
"Building on our strong foundation, we will continue to promote a culture of innovation and invest in learning and development opportunities that empower our people to pursue rewarding careers with Singapore Airlines."
Aside from the Most Attractive Employer achievement, Singapore Airlines is also recognised in the Employer Brand Hall of Fame for the second time, from 2024 to 2025.

Match employer brand to talent demands
The rise of Singapore's top employers and sectors comes with a call to Singaporean businesses to meet employees' "increasingly selective" demands.
Randstad's report showed that work-life balance and competitive salary and benefits remain Singaporean professionals' top priorities.
Employees are also looking for career progression, as well as equal opportunities, according to the findings.
"As job seekers become increasingly selective, organisations must now tailor their employer brand to resonate deeply with talent," Blasco said.
"Competitive compensation alone is no longer sufficient; professionals are looking for flexibility, career growth, and equity. Those who lead in these areas, like this year's winners, set the standard for employer excellence."
