HR Leaders Summit Asia is underway

Today's event will explore viable strategies for the post-pandemic world

HR Leaders Summit Asia is underway

HRD’s annual HR Leaders Summit Asia kicked off this morning with a perfect summary of how 2020 has impacted leadership. Yvonne Teo, vice president, HR APAC at ADP set the tone by reflecting on the amount of effort needed to navigate the pandemic and the resulting rapid pace of change.

“As if it’s still not enough, while we’re trying to learn from the past to manage the present, we have to start preparing for the future of work,” she said. “And we need to be at the forefront of a changing workplace and workforce and the growing demands of technologies like AI, machine learning and robotics. So, it’s really very important for us to adapt to the unexpected.”

She then reminded fellow leaders that “we have to be prepared to face a world full of surprises”.

Today’s impressive line up of speakers from Accor Asia Pacific, BP, Cisco, Foodpanda, L’Oreal, Mars, Rakuten, Samsung Electronics and Singtel aim to share their own experiences and help leaders prepare for the uncertain post-pandemic workplace.
