Renault has announced mental health benefit under the new scheme
Renault Group is extending 24/7 psychological support to its employees and their household members under a newly launched universal healthcare programme covering physical and mental health.
The psychological support, accessed through a 24/7 hotline, is tailored to the personal, family, or professional concerns of the automobile manufacturer's employees and their household members, according to Renault Group.
It is part of the company's newly launched OneHealth, a global physical and mental health programme that aims to offer Renault employees worldwide equitable access to healthcare.
"OneHealth testifies to the importance Renault Group places on people, and I'm delighted that it's now open to everyone, worldwide," said Bruno Laforge, Chief People & Organisation Officer, Renault Group, in a statement.
"This programme also contributes to strengthening diversity and inclusion within the Renault Group, by offering support tailored to the needs of everyone."
In addition to 24/7 psychological support, OneHealth also provides:
"The programme also aims to provide all employees with health cover that is at least equal to or better than the standards in force in each country: a package of services that enables every employee to feel fully supported, both professionally and personally," the company said in its media release.
Laforge said the programme is a "strategic investment" that fits with the company's environmental, social, and governance approach.
"As a responsible company, we are aware that the health and well-being of our employees are key success factors," the chief people officer said.
OneHealth now covers 95% of Renault Group's employees. The company aims to cover its entire workforce by September 2025.
Renault Group has around 106,000 employees in 33 countries, including France, China, South Korea, India, Argentina, Brazil, Algeria, and others, according to its website.
