The Australian HR Awards 2025 showcased the work of the nation’s most innovative and dedicated HR professionals during an unforgettable night of recognition and celebration.

Held at the Fullerton Hotel in Sydney on September 5, the event welcomed more than 600 attendees, all gathered to honour the individuals and teams driving change in workplaces across Australia.

This year’s awards highlighted the pivotal role HR leaders and teams play in transforming organisational culture, championing employee wellbeing, and navigating the evolving world of work.

With awards presented across 20 categories, the evening showcased the breadth of talent and commitment within the HR community.

Ben Mansour, Vice President, People and Corporate Relations Australia at Anglo American, was named HR Leader of the Year and paid tribute to his team.

“It’s an award that I would like to thank my team for,” he said. “Without the work of everyone behind the scenes and my team supporting me, I would not be here today. So it's really an award for them.”

Powerlink Queensland took home the award for Best Graduate Development Program, and Westpac was named Employer of Choice (>1000 employees).
