Last year’s winner of the Australian HR Champion (CEO) of the Year award, Peter Stewart, former CEO of Estara, told HRD earlier this year that he still gets goosebumps when he thinks about winning.
“It was humbling. It was a shock, if I’m honest. To be awarded such a prestigious honour was just the best feeling. To be honest, I had no idea I was going to win. It was such an amazing experience to celebrate with so many inspirational people; it was really special,” Stewart said.
