Meet the women who have made an outstanding contribution in human resources
HRD is proud to announce the HRD Elite Women 2025 - recognising the outstanding contribution and professional excellence of female leaders in human resources across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
All of 2025’s Elite Women are role models, with many in senior positions across sectors including HR consulting, technology, beauty and food services.
This progression and achievement should not be taken for granted, according to Christine Iannerella, associate director of professional services, Brisbane, at recruitment specialists Robert Walters.
“More women are stepping into executive HR roles compared to a decade ago. However, true equity at the very top is still a work in progress,” she says.
The final list of 40 Elite Women who have made their mark, have all shown their ability to deal with major emerging issues such as digital literacy, data-driven decision-making and organisational design.

How Elite Women 2025 were selected
HRD invited industry professionals from across Australia, Asia and New Zealand to nominate exceptional female role models for the Elite Women list.
Nominators were asked to describe the nominee’s standout professional achievements in the past 12 months, initiatives and innovations, and contributions.
After a review of all the nominations, the HRD Australia, Asia and New Zealand team narrowed down the list to the final list.
