HR Leaders Asia Summit is underway

HR leaders across Asia are gathered today (8 October) for HRDs second HR Leaders Asia Virtual Summit.

Rachele Focardi, founder at XYZ@Work opened the event by highlighting leadership’s role in navigating the ‘new normal’.

“I’m a strong believer that through disruption comes opportunity for growth,” Focardi said. “And I do want to believe that that everything that has happened, as challenging as it is, is meant to put us on a better path, as both business and political leaders all over the world struggle to anticipate and prepare for what’s to come.”

Todays discussions involve a slew of thought leaders from top organisations such as Intel, Mattel, Standard Chartered, Starbucks and Unilever.

Speakers will take the stage throughout the day to discuss pertinent topics such as:

  • How to foster collaboration, teamwork, agility and cohesion in the new normal
  • How to coach leaders and managers to build their emotional intelligence and empathy
  • HR’s role in building a resilient workforce
