Table registrations open for HR Awards New Zealand

Table registrations are open for the HR Awards New Zealand, a live ceremony during the HRD National HR Summit New Zealand, at the Pullman Auckland on Wednesday, 10 April.

Join us as we honour and celebrate the winners, recognising the most outstanding teams, leaders, and employers for their accomplishments, leadership, and innovation in the HR profession over the past 12 months.

Nominations for the awards have now closed and our distinguished panel of judges are diligently evaluating and shortlisting candidates across various individual and company categories such as HR Director of the Year, HR Rising Star, and HR Team of the Year.

Excellence awards finalists will be announced in the HRD Newsletter and website on Monday, 12 February.

Judging panel of 20 HR leaders

Our judging panel comprises 20 human resources leaders from across the motu, including Julie Bassett, VP Human Resources at Constellation Brands, Annie Brown, CPO at Trade Me, and Richard Parker, CHRO at The Warehouse Group.

Judge, Ceri Rowland GM of people and culture at Douglas Pharmaceuticals, whose people and culture team won the HR Team of the Year in 2023 told HRD after accepting the prestigious award, “Our whole team is jumping for joy. We’re just thrilled! It’s really lovely to be acknowledged for all the hard work and the passion and the drive that this team shows every single day to make a positive impact,” said Rowland.

Gareth Cameron, head of people, training, and talent at McDonald’s NZ and Excellence Awardee in both 2022 and 2023, expressed his anticipation for the HRD Awards each year. According to Cameron, “it's a valuable opportunity to reflect on the team's exceptional achievements and stay connected with best practices in the broader HR industry.”

The overall winners will be crowned at the HRD National HR Summit, featuring evidence-based insights from HRDs, CHROs, and VPs of some of New Zealand's most successful companies.

Join us at the Summit to connect with peers facing similar challenges. Engage in idea generation, share real-life experiences, hear proven strategies, and connect with each other as we delve into the state of HR in Aotearoa.

Don't miss out on the chance to secure your table as they're expected to sell out quickly.
