HRD Awards return as an in-person event for 2023

Table registrations are now open for the nation’s largest independent HR industry awards ceremony when it returns in-person at the Hilton Hotel on Auckland’s waterfront on Thursday, 27 April.

Join us on the day to recognise and celebrate the overall winners as HRD names the most outstanding teams, leaders and employers for their achievements, leadership, and innovation in the HR profession over the past 12 months.

Congratulations to all the excellence awardees who were announced last month. Since then, a panel of esteemed judges have been evaluating the shortlisted candidates across both individual and company categories like HR Director of the Year, HR Rising Star, and HR Team of the Year.

Register for the HRD HR Awards 2023.

Our panel of 36 judges are all outstanding in the world of human resources. Among them are Monica Ayers, CPO at New Zealand Post, Kate Daly, MD people and culture at Fonterra, and Richard Parker, CHRO at The Warehouse Group.

An Excellence Awardee in 2022 and 2023, Gareth Cameron, head of people, training and talent at McDonald’s NZ, told HRD he looks forward to entering in the HRD Awards each year.

“It’s a great opportunity to reflect on some of the outstanding accomplishments our team has done throughout the year and allows us to stay connected with the best practices and current happenings in the wider HR industry,” Cameron said.

The overall winners will be crowned at the HRD National HR Summit where attendees will hear evidence-based insights from the HRDs, CHROs and VPs of some of New Zealand’s most successful companies.

The Summit is hosted by Love HR’s Stephanie Love who brings great energy and a wealth of human resources knowledge to the stage.

“I feel really privileged to be asked to MC the Summit. I always enjoy any opportunity to facilitate people coming together to learn, collaborate and connect. Some of the best inspiration gets sparked when we come together so I’m looking forward to seeing and supporting the magic happening.”

Tables will sell fast so register today for the HRD HR Awards 2023.
