The Defence Force is made up of three unique services – the Army, the Navy and the Air Force – each with its own unique strengths. Defence Force careers are based upon training, education and operational experience. The result is longer-lasting, more flexible careers – careers that adapt with the times, and that supply employees with skills that are translatable to any workforce, be it military or civilian. Roles within the Defence Force encompass supporting other NZ troops, all the way through to interacting with and supporting civilian populations, helping leverage their skills and passion to good use helping others.
