HRDs should be joining forces with CTOs to get the most out of HR technology

How HR and IT can work together

HR technology requires intense collaboration between HR and IT, but what is the most effective way to build this dual-department alliance? HRD readers are invited to join a panel discussion at the upcoming HR Tech Summit to hear a range of perspectives on how best to build a strategic partnership with the IT department.

Panellists include David Dunne, Head of People Systems & Operations, Salmat; Bernadette King, Head of People Systems, Woolworths Group; Nicole Mason, HR Project Lead, Blackmores; Bridget Spiteri, HRIS Manager, Caltex Australia; Edwina Trenchard-Smith, Head of Talent, Scentre Group Human Resources and Beau Tydd, General Manager, People & Technology, Queensland Airports Limited.

The session will cover effectively blending HR and IT knowledge, securing IT stakeholder buy-in, how to work effectively with IT teams who may not understand the needs and nuances of people management and whether HR or IT should own HR technology roll-out.

The HR Tech Summit will be held at The Hilton Sydney on Wednesday 13 September. Early Bird discounts are available for a limited time with special Dual Pass and Team Pass rates for group registrations. For more information and to register click here.
