They have tried their best to explain super choice in plain English, but there’s no getting away from the fact the super choice legislation is a complex bit of work. The book is broken down into a number of pertinent chapters, looking at issues such as the actually mechanics of super choice and issues for employers, through to issues for employees, trustees and advisers. This is backed up by a couple of hefty appendices, which make for heavy going.
The chapter for employers details a wide variety of issues, including timing, cost and liability concerns as well as a concise warning on financial product advice.
Given super choice is not an option for employers, this book is a good guide for any HR professional struggling with the impending issue of choice.
