Saba recently announced that Flight Centre Limited has deployed Saba Enterprise Learning to track, measure and guide the career paths of its employees throughout Australia. The Saba solution allows staff to create profiles of their competencies and directs them to vocational training that will help them achieve their career goals at Flight Centre. Saba Enterprise Learning is available to Flight Centre’s retail Australian staff, and will gradually be deployed for all of the company’s worldwide staff. Flight Centre’s national leader of learning and development Darryl Blake expected the implementation of Saba’s solution to improve customer service for Flight Centre customers.
Cendant expands Kronos licence
Kronos recently announced that Cendant Corporation, a worldwide provider of travel and residential real estate services, has expanded its Kronos rollout by purchasing an additional 40,000 Workforce Central suite licences to accommodate its current workforce and further growth. Cendant is now licensed to accommodate 100,000 employees on a single database, using Kronos’ centralised web-based time and labour solution. ‘MyTime’, the internally branded name for the Kronos solution, is being rolled out to Cendant’s workforce across its 40 different business units including Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Howard Johnson, Avis, Budget and CheapTickets.com.
ADP expands alliance with SAP
ADP recently announced plans to expand its alliance with SAP in order to extend the availability of their joint BPO solution across the globe. The ADP and SAP partnership enables customers to integrate and streamline human capital management processes. The solution will now be available worldwide to large-scale companies making regional or global decisions. ADP will offer payroll and HR business process outsourcing services that are built on mySAP ERP HCM, and use SAP NetWeaver, SAP’s open integration and application platform, to enhance the BPO offering’s integration and interface capabilities with customer and other third-party systems.
