Search underway for HR's most promising young talent

Nominations ongoing for HRD Rising Stars 2020

Search underway for HR's most promising young talent

For the fifth year in a row, HRD will be showcasing Australia’s emerging HR leaders for its annual Rising Stars report.

“The HRD Rising Star list was totally unexpected however greatly appreciated. It confirmed that my contribution is valued and respected and has opened up a number of industry opportunities I would not have otherwise achieved. It’s a great initiative and I encourage all HR professionals to get involved, because it’s only through involvement such as this we can all strive for excellence within the industry and be the best we can in the job we do,” said Adam Roden, HR & Volunteer Officer, Merri Health, 2019 Rising Stars winner.

To be eligible, nominees must have worked in HR for fewer than 10 years and be able to demonstrate success in executing progressive HR initiatives. As the goal of the report each year is to showcase the best emerging talent, HR professionals already recognised in previous Rising Stars reports are not eligible for this year’s list, but are more than welcome to nominate a deserving colleague.

The entry process is straightforward and free of charge via this brief online form which asks for details regarding a candidate’s achievements and industry contributions to date.

The Rising Stars 2020 report will be published on the HRD website and newsletter in May.
