Rubik welcomes Stacey Hampton as new head of HR

Rubik’s new HR guru says she is looking forward to “flexing her skills” in her new role.

Financial services software company Rubik Financial (Rubik) has appointed Stacey Hampton as Head of Human Resources, reporting to Group Chief Financial Officer, Darius Coveney.

Hampton holds over 10 years’ experience in senior roles with the Macquarie Group, most recently as Human Resources Business Partner supporting the Risk Management and Legal and Governance Groups.

She has extensive experience in developing and delivering a broad range of HR initiatives, including staff engagement, recruitment and selection, learning and development, talent identification, performance management, remuneration, and diversity and inclusion.

Group CFO Coveney says Stacey’s broad range of skills and experience will help Rubik to attract and retain the best talent in Fintech.

“Most importantly, we want to ensure we lay the best foundations on which to build a winning Rubik culture and Stacey was the ideal candidate to help us do that,” he says.

Hampton told Industry Moves that she is looking forward to “flexing her skills” in her new role and says she will be using the first 6-12 months to understand the business, its people and its direction.

“From there, my goal is to support Rubik in creating a strong culture and environment where employees feel engaged, energised, recognised and supported,” Hampton says.

“It’s a chance to lead the function and make a difference at a critical junction in the business’ growth.”
