This dashboard presents estimated annual salaries across major U.S. industries and states, based on data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) program. Salary figures reflect mean annual earnings by location and industry, with historical trends tracked from 2012 through the most recent estimate year (2025).
- Filters: Use the dropdown menus at the top to select Location or Industry. All charts and tables on the page update based on your selections.
- Visualizations: Review the heatmap for a geographic view of 2025 earnings, the trend chart for salary growth over time, and the ranking table for year-over-year comparisons by location.
- Industry Detail: Use the "Industry Salary Per State" table to compare specific industries side-by-side across multiple years (2022–2025).
- National Trends: The "National Average Per Industry" chart tracks how different industries have grown relative to one another from 2019 to 2025.
- Comparisons: Use the charts and tables together to compare salaries across states, industries, and time periods.
