US Estimated Job Salaries

User Guide

This dashboard presents estimated annual salaries for specific job titles across U.S. states and industries. Data covers 2017–2025: figures from 2017–2024 are sourced from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) program, while 2025 figures are estimated using a combination of BLS data and job board sources. Salary figures include the 10th percentile, median, and 90th percentile, alongside aggregate annual earnings by location.

  • Filters: Use the dropdown menus at the top to select Location, Industry, or Job Title. All charts and tables on the page update based on your selections.
  • Visualizations: Review the horizontal bar chart for a state-by-state view of the 2025 salary range, the ranking table for year-over-year comparisons of aggregate annual earnings by location, and the detailed table for salary breakdowns by job title.
  • Percentiles: The 10th percentile reflects entry-level or lower-paid roles, the median is the typical salary, and the 90th percentile shows high earners or senior roles.
  • Job Title Detail: Use the "Salary Per Location and Job Title" table to compare specific roles side-by-side within a selected location.
  • Trend Line: The "Salary Range" chart tracks how the 10th percentile, median, and 90th percentile have moved over time (2017–2025).
  • Comparisons: Use the charts and tables together to compare salaries across states, industries, and job titles.

Salary values are intended for benchmarking and informational purposes only. 2025 figures reflect a blended estimate (BLS + job board data) and may differ in methodology from prior years.
