My current role is ... Vice President Human Resources for
Campbell Arnott’s, Asia Pacific
My qualifications are ... Bachelor of Arts, Ambassador University;
Master of Arts, University of Louisiana at Monroe
I got into HR because ... people are the “secret ingredient” of
any organisation and if you can help them be more effective, the
company is more likely to thrive.
My biggest career high was when ... I was offered my current
role, which meant relocating from Campbell’s Headquarters in
New Jersey to the wonderful city of Sydney, Australia!
To succeed in HR it takes ... commercial acumen. If you can't
demonstrate the link between what your function does and busi
ness results, you are wasting your time and the company’s.
The living person I most admire is ... my sister. She’s a doc
tor, a writer and a mother of three, one that is a special needs
child. Amazing!
The thing I dislike most about myself ... my competitive spirit.
Sometimes it stops me from just pausing to smell the roses.
The thing I dislike most in others ... disengagement. Everyone at
Campbell Arnott’s can make a difference if they want to. If they
don’t, they should go work somewhere else.
The best advice I ever got was ... “Whatsoever your hand finds
to do, do it with all your might”.
I’m happiest when I’m ... exploring the great Australian outdoors
with my six-year-old son, Noah.
The hardest thing I’ve ever done was ... to give birth naturally!
My greatest extravagance is ... a Tim Tam a day. It’s easy to see
why it’s such an iconic Australian brand.
My favourite book is ... Tolkien’s masterpiece: Lord of the Rings.
My motto is ... There’s no substitute for quality, in everything you do.
