New public sector stream at National HR Summit

Now in its 17th year, the National HR Summit is continuing to innovate and look at new ways to bring the latest knowledge to HR professionals.

For 2019, a new stream has been introduced to the summit on day one – the Public Sector Forum – covering the challenges facing public sector HR professionals specifically.

The forum features some of the top HR leaders in the public sector, including Bridie Dawson, Chief People Officer at Australian Financial Security Authority; Breda Diamond, Director - Organisational Change, Capability and Development at Service NSW; Kevin Flack, Director of Strategic HR at Department of Justice NSW; and Jeremy Moore, Assistant Commissioner – Workforce Strategy and Change at Australian Taxation Office.

Key issues to be explored include how to be a resilient leader; workforce planning and technology to enhance people strategy; how to embrace diversity and inclusion within the public sector; and using data to optimise talent management and transformative culture change.
