National HR Summit: Day One

All the highlights from the first day. The National HR Summit is back tomorrow for the second and final day.

The 14th annual National HR Summit kicked off this morning at Luna Park Sydney with a keynote presentation by intergenerational leadership strategist Holly Ransom who spoke on the changing face and nature of work. 
 
Mamamia co-founder Mia Freedman is at the helm as chairperson in the main conference today where delegates will be hearing from the Australian Army, Johnson & Johnson, Sydney Opera House and more. The Directors Forum program includes speakers from KFC, Orica, NRMA and Unysis.
 
The Expo Hall is busy with HR professionals browsing the latest products and services on offer as well as participating in the free workshops and activities scheduled throughout the day. Today’s proceedings will end with the official HR Summit networking event from 5pm – a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and enjoy the harbour views.
 
The National HR Summit returns again tomorrow for the second and final day. There are still five free workshops on offer, plus the $10,000 Grand Prize Draw taking place at 3:45pm.
