Last year's HR Champion shares his thoughts

Chris Whitehead from CUA took home the title of Australian HR Champion (CEO) at last year’s Australian HR Awards. Chris credits the dedication of his hard working team for the win.

Chris how does it feel to have won this award this evening?

I’m delighted for the organisation, delighted for my HR team. I’m just very, very lucky, I’ve got a group of incredibly dedicated people.

As CEO you get the benefit that great people make you look good, but really it’s all their hard work and their dedication and we’ve been doing some fantastic things.

Nominations for the 2013 Australian HR Awards close at midnight tonight! Visit www.hrawards.com.au/nominate/ to submit your entries before it’s too late.
