Full house for Australian HR Awards

It’s been a year of records for the Australian HR Awards. Nominations increased over 40 per cent resulting in a list of finalists that truly represent the individuals, teams and companies at the cutting edge of innovation and leadership in the HR profession.

With this year’s awards ceremony now just weeks away, HRD can reveal that a new record of over 900 HR professionals will be in attendance at Sydney’s The Star Event Centre.

“The Australian HR Awards continues to grow year to year and is now the most coveted award in the industry with the best and most innovative companies and individuals getting involved,” said Justin Kennedy, managing director of event organisers Key Media.

“This year’s event promises to be a truly stand-out evening with over 900 of the best HR professionals coming together to celebrate their success. On behalf of the team we congratulate all of this year’s finalists and wish everyone the best of luck.”

The 2017 Australian HR Awards will be held on Friday 8 September and hosted by Logie-winning actress and presenter Natalie Bassingthwaighte. Natalie is one of Australia’s most versatile entertainers, well known for her work on popular music series The X Factor Australia, So You Think You Can Dance and Neighbours and as the front woman of international music sensation The Rogue Traders. She was most recently seen on Network Ten’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here and is currently in production on the second season of the Network Ten series The Wrong Girl.

Guests at the Australian HR Awards will also be entertained by musical act Luke Zanc Duo and be able to dance the night away to the tunes of high-energy cover band Furnace and the Fundamentals.
