Final preparations for awards event of the year

The HR industry’s night of nights is only a week away.

650 HR industry professionals will gather at the Hilton Sydney hotel next Friday night for the Australian HR Awards. The prestigious event, which has been booked out for several weeks, will recognise and celebrate the achievements of the best in the industry.

There are 22 finalists across four individual categories, including seven vying for the title of Australian HR Director of the Year. A total 69 companies from a diverse range of business sectors are represented across the 19 award categories.

Official event partner 2discover said the event was set to be a highlight.

“We are looking forward to a wonderful evening,” managing director John Leith said. “The Australian HR Awards are about recognising and celebrating the outstanding achievements of individuals and companies in the HR industry. In addition to the much-anticipated announcement of the award winners, guests will be treated to a night of fine dining and live entertainment. The event will be hosted by popular television personality Shelley Craft.
