ANZ has announced a new collaboration with cloud-based HR platform Employment Hero.

The partnership offers ANZ customers free access to HR software which manages the entire employment life-cycle for small-to-medium sized businesses.

The platform combines scheduling and payroll tools, financial services, performance management and employee benefits into a centralised, easy-to-use Human Resources Information System.

Customers will be able to register to use Employment Hero through a co-branded ANZ / Employment Hero registration site.

All customers have to do is register their businesses and then setup their employees.

All users then have self-service access to the platform and employees can access an Employment Hero app to access all their HR related information.

ANZ Managing Director Corporate and Commercial Banking, Mark Hand said that without effective HR management, businesses are exposed to losing valued employees or breaching compliance requirements.

Hand added that staying on top of the administration not only costs money and time, but also takes business owners away from growing their business.

“Running a small business is tough and being an employer in Australia can be complex; we want to support our customers beyond a traditional banking proposition,” Hand said.

“This platform contains everything an employer needs to recruit, manage, pay and engage their workforce in a simple cloud solution.”

Employment Hero founder and CEO, Ben Thompson said that by simplifying administrative processes they can help businesses be significantly more productive.

“It takes 100 pages of paperwork to on-board an employee, this is often then sent by mail and stored in manila folders – a huge waste of resources and time,” he said.

“We remove all this paperwork, sending the right information to the right parties in a secure real-time environment.

“Our goal is to support 10,000 individual businesses by 2020. The ability to deliver Employment Hero to business owners through ANZ’s business bankers and their many other distribution channels is really exciting.”

ANZ is offering business customers free access to the Employment Hero platform from early 2017.
