Never have as many people felt so disengaged from their jobs, and so removed from their leaders and the values of their company. Professor George Kohlrieser says great leaders can turn things around

Excellent article highlighting the number one cause of employee disengagement, stress and high turnover. Yet how many companies understand that this is the root cause, let alone address it?

Instead of listening to employees who are often astutely aware of non-inspirational and ineffective leaders, leadership "protects itself" and sometimes bad leaders protect each other from being identified as the real problem. And, when it all gets too much, they just move on, leaving behind a disengaged and stressed workforce who has become disillusioned and can''t help resist even more change.
