The last gem when it comes to sexual harassment is this:

You are allowed to stare at a girl for seven seconds before it is considered to be sexual harassment.

Bernie - can I ask where this 'latest gem' is from?

I was talking to a group of people about issues to consider when conducting a risk assessment in relation to counterproductive workplace behaviours i.e. bullying, harassment and unlawful discrimination.

When it came to sexual harassment, one of the younger males raised the issue. I told him that it was an urban myth.

Given the existence of such urban myths, support personnel such as Harassment Referral/Contact/Equity Officers need to be aware of these 'beliefs' that do exist.

Don't agree with this at all. Why would you and what gives you the right to make that woman feel uncomfortable due to you staring????
