Mathew Paine is an HR practitioner with over 20 years of senior Human Resource Management experience within the private, government and profit-for-purpose (NFP) sectors in Australia, NZ and the U.K.
Paine’s role includes supporting the Department’s 15,500 team members and $1.79 billion annual workforce budget leading talent acquisition, people capability and development, strategic workforce effectiveness and diversity and inclusion to achieve the strategic goals of the Department and the NSW Government.
His specialties include industrial relations, employee relations, union negotiations, performance management, generalist human resource management, diversity and inclusion, learning and development.
