As Hilton’s chief administrative officer, Matthew Schuyler is responsible for coordinating global business performance against the global hospitality leader’s key strategic priorities. He performs his role with a commitment to turning Hilton into a great workplace and helping team members build a career with the company. Prior to his current role, Schuyler was chief human resources officer for 11 years, leading Hilton’s global HR organisation. He was also previously chief human resources officer and head of corporate real estate at Capital One from 2002 to 2009; and held two HR roles at Cisco, from 2000 to 2002. He began his career in 1987 at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he held numerous HR leadership roles, most recently as partner of global human resources, from 1997 to 2000. Schuyler holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
