VP and global head of HR
Matthew Kimball is the VP and global head of HR at Shell with a passion for modernizing the employee experience and digital innovation. The global CHRO has extensive experience leading transformational change across a range of industries, markets, and regions. Prior to his current, Singapore-based role, he was the CHRO and vice president of Shell Chemicals HR, based in London, UK, from 2014 to 2017. Before that, he spent 11 years with Merck in a variety of senior HR leadership roles, across the Netherlands, Singapore, US, and Australia. He started his HR career at Accenture where he served as manager of organisation and human performance, leading major process and systems, reengineering initiatives as well as mergers and acquisitions across financial services, FMCG, oil, and resource industries in Australia and the US.
