Gloria Chen is the chief people officer and executive vice president of employee experience at Adobe, responsible for leading the company’s people operations, including all aspects of human resources, global real estate, and safety and security. She is in charge of creating an exceptional employee experience for 22,000-plus employees across 75 locations around the globe. Chen joined Adobe in 1997, and has since then held senior leadership roles in worldwide sales operations, customer service and support, and strategic planning, assisting the company through some of its boldest, most critical changes – from shaping its ecommerce strategy, building its enterprise business, to managing significant acquisitions and integrations. Before joining Adobe, Chen was a software engineer and an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company.
