Karl-Erik Sveiby is a professor of knowledge management at the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration, and principal of knowledge management consultancy Sveiby Knowledge Associates. With operations in both Sweden and Australia, along with an impressive client list, Sveiby’s site is a professional and impressive website devoted to benchmarking the practice of KM. The site has sections dedicated to products and services, a toolkit, a library, latest news and a bio of Karl-Erik Sveiby.

The library is one of the most useful resources for HR professionals, with a comprehensive list of KM articles (in eight languages). Largely a collection of Karl-Erik Sveiby’s writings, the library includes a ten-part introduction to KM, and hundreds of articles on KM and intellectual capital, managing knowledge organisations, measuring intangible assets, marketing and selling knowledge, for example.

This is just a small sampling of the free, high quality content available on the Sveiby knowledge management site. Site navigation and structure are simple and easy to follow, which is no small feat given the vast amount of KM resources available. Design is simple but effective, reinforcing the practical and professional nature of the site. If you’re into KM, bookmark this site.
