A new era for HR

Welcome to Human Resources Leader – formerly Human Resources mag azine, which has been a leader in helping the HR profession develop over the past eight years since the magazine’s inception.

Human Resources Leader reflects the evolving nature of both the mag azine and profession. HR as a whole has moved from a more traditional role – in which it performed administrative and transactional tasks – to a more strategic role – in which it is charged with helping to execute on business strategy and build sustainable organisational capability through people.

This is a new and unchartered frontier for both HR and business. As the margins of competitive advantage become tighter and tighter, an organisation’s people are really the only true and lasting differential.

This requires a new kind of leader who can bridge the gap between people and business by having the right people in the right place at the right time. This goes beyond the traditional realm of HR, and extends to leaders at all levels of business.

This is a new era for HR and business, and Human Resources Leader will lead the way for HR professionals and leaders at all levels in making a significant and lasting contribution to business success.
